Hauppauge, NY --- For the fourth consecutive year, the associates at Santinelli International joined forces to make the holiday season a little brighter for those less fortunate. In December, the company welcomed Marty Lyons, a former player for the New York Jets, to collect their donated gifts for children who are ill, in support of the “Marty Lyons Foundation”.
Mr. Lyons has spent the last 25 years fulfilling the special wishes of children aged 3 to 17 years old, who have been diagnosed as having a terminal or life threatening illness by providing and arranging special wish requests. Marty said, “A fulfilled special wish has the ability to sweep the children and their family away from the daily heartache of illness”.
At Santinelli International’s headquarters, Mr. Lyons passionately shared some of the children’s stories, and although each was sad, they were certainly inspiring to the entire group. In addition to distributing donated holiday gifts, the foundation provides emotional and financial support to these children and their families throughout the year. Further information on the foundation can be found at www.martylyonsfoundation.org.
