New NIDEK Products Previewed at 8th Annual Lens Edger Summit Meeting
Milan, Italy- NIDEK Co., Ltd, the global leader in lens
edging technology and equipment, and other ophthalmic
instruments, recently held its 8th Annual Worldwide
Summit Meeting, with over 100 attendees from close to
40 countries. Once again Gerard Santinelli, President
and CEO of Santinelli International USA, presided
as co-chairman of the meeting, which was particularly
noteworthy due to the introduction of one of NIDEK's
most exciting and innovative products to date.
The group was comprised of NIDEK lens edging equipment distributors from around
the world, including Europe, Africa, the Pacific Rim, Asia,
the Middle East and the Americas. The Worldwide Summit
Meeting is organized primarily to identify worldwide
optical market trends and needs, to share
marketing insights and to present NIDEK’s current and new product
developments to its distributors.
According to Mr. Santinelli, “This Summit meeting represents an
opportunity for our lens edging team throughout the world to be ‘one’ for
a few days”. Mr. Santinelli adds, “Each year the camaraderie,
synergy and alliances increase. But this year, we had the privilege of
seeing the most exciting edging concepts in NIDEK’s history. All
of my colleagues share the same enthusiasm for this
soon-to-be-released technology.”
